## The places people choose

- **Maroon Lake at first light**: The classic: the Bells reflected in the lake. Between May 22 and October 18, a private car must arrive before 8 a.m. with a parking reservation, which suits sunrise.
- **The top of Aspen Mountain**: 11,212 feet by the Silver Queen Gondola, about 15 minutes from downtown, winter and summer; sightseeing tickets from $40–41.
- **At the house**: The fire lit, the table set, a private chef cooking: the most private option, in any weather.
- **Aspen groves in autumn**: Mid to late September, when the trees turn gold.

## Nothing left to chance

- **Timing and weather**: Early light and a backup plan for wind, snow or a closed road.
- **Flowers and details**: On the table, at the lake or in the room, as you want it.

Maroon Lake at sunrise is the classic; the top of Aspen Mountain by gondola and a private dinner at the house are the alternatives that work in any season.

**What do you need to propose at the Maroon Bells?**  
Between May 22 and October 18, a private car needs a parking reservation and must arrive before 8 a.m. or after 5 p.m.; otherwise you take the reserved shuttle. A wedding ceremony needs the amphitheater reservation. We check the current National Forest rules for the photographer when we plan.

**Can you hide a photographer for the proposal?**  
Yes. We place and brief a local photographer before you arrive so the moment is captured without giving it away.
