Canonical page: https://aspenprive.com/best-breakfast-aspen/ Updated: 2026-10-02 · Publisher: Aspen Privé (local Aspen stay planning and concierge) Aspen's breakfast is mostly small and local. **Poppycock's** has served its oatmeal pancakes since 1971; **Paradise Bakery** opens at **6:30 a.m.**; **Silvers** boils and bakes New York-style bagels in the old Jour de Fête space; **Bonnie's** serves pancakes mid-mountain. Hours below are what each restaurant publishes, checked October 2, 2026. Aspen restaurants shorten hours or close for parts of the spring and fall off-season, and set winter hours around ski-area opening day, so confirm the week you arrive. Jour de Fête, long a breakfast standby at 710 E. Durant, closed at the end of January 2025; Silvers now occupies the address. ## Breakfast at the house instead (what Aspen Privé arranges) On ski mornings the fastest breakfast is the one already on the table. We stock the kitchen before you arrive and can send a chef for breakfast on the days that matter. Most breakfast places here don't take reservations. - **First morning, at the house**: After a late arrival or with altitude to adjust to, breakfast in the rental beats a queue. See [your first 48 hours](https://aspenprive.com/aspen-altitude-first-48-hours/). - **Off-season**: In late October–November and April–May, several places shorten hours or close for a few weeks.
