A different way to fly
An opportunity.
Not a compromise.
An empty leg is a private aircraft repositioning without its original passengers. If the route and timing work for you, that one-way flight can become your journey.
The advantage is the opportunity. The trade-off is flexibility: dates, airports and departure times can move, and an empty leg can be cancelled. We make the conditions clear before you commit.

The local advantage
Here in Aspen.
Before you arrive.
Paul is based in Aspen. You have one local point of contact for the flight arrangements, your driver, residence preparation and the stay.
We connect the itinerary to what happens on the ground: the airport transfer, the stocked kitchen, the first evening. If your flight changes, we coordinate your agreed local arrangements around the confirmed plan.

Before you fly
A few good questions.
What is an empty leg?
A one-way flight an aircraft must make to reposition after a charter or to collect its next passengers. The route and timing come from that original trip. If they fit your plans, the operator may offer the aircraft for that leg.
Am I booking a seat or the aircraft?
We arrange whole-aircraft charter opportunities, not scheduled airline seats. Passenger capacity depends on the aircraft, baggage, route and operator approval. Any displayed rate is indicative; the written quote sets the total, taxes, fees and conditions.
Are these flights guaranteed to be available?
No. Only opportunities with recorded distribution permission and a recent availability confirmation can appear. Empty legs can change or disappear when the original charter changes. We reconfirm the aircraft, operating carrier, total price and conditions before any booking.
What if there is nothing on my route?
Create a route watch. We review your route, dates, passengers and flexibility, and contact you if a suitable opportunity is confirmed. If you need a firm schedule, ask us about a full charter.
Why consider Eagle or Rifle?
They are separate airports with a drive to Aspen, not Aspen/Pitkin County Airport. They may widen the aircraft and route options. Select them only if that transfer works for you. We can coordinate Eagle or Rifle ground transport.
What does Aspen Privé add to the flight?
A local point of contact in Aspen. Paul can coordinate your arrival, private transport, residence preparation, dining and the rest of the stay alongside the flight arrangements. You choose what to include; each service and its cost is confirmed before you commit.
Who operates the flight?
Aspen Privé is an air charter broker, not a direct air carrier, and does not operate aircraft. Flights are operated by FAA-certificated direct air carriers, normally under Part 135 (or Part 121), which hold operational control. We act as your agent in arranging it. The operating carrier is named in writing before you book. Air charter broker disclosure requirements.
