Aspen's luxury shopping sits in the downtown core, a few blocks from the gondola: Galena Street for Prada, Gucci, Dior, Loro Piana, Ralph Lauren and Valentino; Hyman Avenue for Hermès and Chanel; Mill Street for Louis Vuitton. Everything is walkable in an afternoon.

For high-fashion skiwear, the Aspen Snowmass guide names Gorsuch (Aspen and Snowmass), Performance and Miller Sports; for technical gear, Hamilton Sports and Aspen Sports; for touring and backcountry, Ute Mountaineer. Strafe, made in Aspen, has shops at Highlands and Snowmass.
