Maroon Creek Road takes visitors to the Maroon Bells only from mid-May to early November; in winter, one way in is a guided snowmobile tour. T-Lazy-7 Ranch runs guided tours there and into the White River National Forest from $325 for a single rider. For dinner on the mountain, The Cabin at Snowmass and Cloud Nine at Aspen Highlands are reached by snowcat.

On T-Lazy-7 tours, drivers must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license; passengers can be as young as 4.
