Most of Aspen can be done for free: RFTA buses from the airport into Aspen and Snowmass, between the two towns and between all four mountains in winter cost nothing. High Mountain Taxi runs 24/7, metered, roughly $25–35 from the airport to Aspen and $50–65 to Snowmass. For luggage, groups, late nights and airports beyond Aspen, a pre-arranged car is the reliable option.
