The short answer, with dated sources: what happened to Krabloonik, whether anyone runs dog sled tours near Aspen now, and what to do instead.
For nearly fifty years, dog sledding near Aspen meant Krabloonik in Snowmass Village. Under a 2023 settlement with the Town of Snowmass Village, 2023–24 was its final season and it left the property in 2024. As of October 2, 2026 we found no dog sled tour operating in Aspen or Snowmass for 2026–27. The closest operators are a long winter drive away.
What follows is drawn from local reporting on the town's settlement and from operators' own sites, checked October 2, 2026. If a new operator is announced for the season, we will update this page.

A car and driver on call for dinner and the night out, so nobody hunts for a taxi at midnight.

We find and brief a nanny or babysitter for the days the little ones aren't in ski school, or the evenings you go out: at the house, the same person all week if you like.
