Aspen airport to Snowmass

Snowmass Village is six miles from Aspen's airport, closer than many guests expect. What each way of covering them is like with ski bags, children and a late flight.

Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is 6 miles from Snowmass Village and 3 from downtown Aspen. The airport sits between the two on Highway 82, so Snowmass guests do not go through Aspen to get there.

Everything arrives at the same place: the Ground Transportation Circle outside baggage claim, with Uber and Lyft on the front drive. What differs is how much waiting, carrying and transferring you do between there and the door.

What we handle

Landing to ski-ready in Snowmass

We meet the flight, load the luggage and skis, and drive you to the door; the house is warm, stocked and, if you like, the rental skis are already fitted and waiting. If the flight diverts to Eagle or Grand Junction, the car goes there instead. Send the flight.

Getting around once there

Snowmass has its own free Village Shuttle from the terminal below the Village Mall, and RFTA's free route connects Snowmass and Aspen. Many guests don't need a car for the stay. Snowmass guide.

Rather than carry ski bags through the airport, have rentals delivered and fitted at the residence. Ski rental delivery.
