March brings almost as much snow as midwinter (26.9 inches in town) with highs of 43°F and much longer days. School spring breaks spread through the month and Easter is Sunday, March 28, 2027. For trips that run into April, one date matters more than any other: Aspen's airport closes at 11pm on April 4, 2027 for reconstruction, until November 19.
